A Blast From The Past IX: Triumvirate

Sequel to: College and Sven

I think it was in 1998 when I met Timo at the gay youth group meeting. We talked a lot every week and we excellently got along. In 2000 I decided to join the editorial staff of a gay city magazine. At the same day Timo called me and said that he's gonna join them without knowing of my plans. Great minds think alike.

So we both joined the staff. This was where we met Markus. He's the new owner of the magazine, he had just taken over ownership and was new in the team as well. We became close friends and together we managed all the administrational things for that magazine--and we still do.

We three hang out together often, at least we called each other nearly every day. The rest of the staff called us "The Triumvirate". I considered them to be my best friends. But somehow it's very difficult right now. The foundation walls of the our trio tumbled down. Since January 2005 we're arguing every time we meet. Somehow it's not really working anymore. I was talking to Markus last Tuesday about this, and we both came to the conclusion, that we've all moved on. Although I'm hoping in some way that we can fix our issues, but probably it's already over.
